September’s Things to Do on Mississippi Gulf Coast
Hello September!
Local homebuilder Elliott Homes loves to learn from our hometown team and where they like to relax and revel in the calming waters on the Coast. From paddle boarding to taking in our phenomenal sunsets to enjoying animals, mammals and fish frolicking at the aquarium, they celebrate living their best life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
SEPTEMBER ON THE COAST – Daily high temperatures are 83°F, rarely falling below 77°F or exceeding 93°F. Daily low temperatures averages are 67°F, rarely falling below 57°F or exceeding 77°F.
Paddle Paradise Community Paddle – A great family event! If you love to paddle, this is a 4-mile paddle through Paradise Bayou in the beautiful Diamondhead community. Food and drinks are available as well as a live band.
Sunset Cocktail Cruise – Whether you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, date night or a little “me time” to relax, the evening cruise offers the best seat in the house to watch the gorgeous sunsets along the beautiful Gulfport waterfront.
Mississippi Aquarium – There’s fun for the whole family as you meet bottlenose dolphins, American crocodiles, North American river otters, green sea turtles and so many more amazing animals in this awe-inspiring adventure.
Keeping you “IN THE KNOW” on the Mississippi Gulf Coast
The town of Diamondhead was named after Diamond Head, Hawaii and most of the roads have Hawaiian names. This resort-like community offers a small-town feel, a low cost of living and convenient access to the interstate.
Diamondhead has several ponds and lakes and community grocery and hardware stores. Many facilities are designed for homeowners to enjoy, including a marina, community pool, Yacht Club, tennis courts and a country club with various restaurants.
Our Diamondhead Lakes community offers cost-friendly homes, some that back up to the golf course. Click below to see our available homes.
