The Most Wonderful Time of the Year on the Secret Coast

The holidays in Mississippi are like no other, where you can catch a glimpse of Santa coming to town by boat or sleigh. There are festivities to enjoy up and down the Coast with Elliott Homes communities close to all. Located on the Gulfport waterfront in Jones Park, prepare to be amazed by more than one million lights. Sip a delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows while you stroll through the park or board a heated trolley. Meet the man in red in Santa’s Village or have photos taken at an Elfie Selfie station. Enjoy rides on Santa’s Big Wheel, the Merry-Go-Round, The Santa Express Tour Train and more!

The Annual Christmas on the Water Boat Parade – Everyone loves a parade, and we have an extra special one on the Coast! Boats are decorated in their holiday glory and sail across the water for all to see. After the parade, the fun continues with a spectacular firework show!

Annual Christmas on the Bayou – Enjoy the fantastic sights of this lighted boat parade from bleacher seats or one of the beautiful waterfront restaurants nearby. Not only are the boats decorated with holiday finery, but waterfront homes also compete to receive the Parade Captain’s Best House on the Bayou.

Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon – A Coastal Running Fest showcases our local culture with a beautiful beachside run from Pass Christian to Biloxi. The weekend event also includes the Chevron Mississippi Gulf Coast Kids 1-mile Marathon. Other races continue for those seeking a healthy tour of the Coast.

Keeping you “IN THE KNOW” on the Mississippi Gulf Coast

Of all the celestial events that occur throughout the year, the Geminid meteor shower is not to be missed. It’s touted as one of the “best and most reliable” annual meteor showers.
