Hello November!

It’s a new month on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and it’s time for the Elliott Homes teams’ favorite things to do this month. Whether you’re living here, visiting or thinking about moving to the coast, here are a few of their recommendations for November. Of course, the weather is gorgeous, a little chilly at night, but not bad. Today it was a fabulous 75° and sunny.

NOVEMBER ON THE COAST – Daily high temperatures drop to 67°F and rarely fall below 57°F or exceed 81°F. Daily low temperatures run around 50°F, rarely falling below 36°F or exceeding 69°F.

The Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival – A favorite of the entire team! Named after the late master potter Peter Anderson, our famous festival has over 400 booths, including artists and crafters worldwide. Admire hand-made jewelry, pottery, paintings and more. Bring your dancing shoes and enjoy live music and items from shops, restaurants and art galleries amongst majestic oak trees. We all agree you MUST visit The Tatonut Donut Shop for one of their famous treats!

Annual Gulf Coast Veterans Parade – Honor and celebrate the brave and honorable men and women of the nation’s armed forces (from the birth of our country through the present day) for their service and sacrifices in assuring “we the people” continue to enjoy our many freedoms. 

The Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Classic Dog Show – More than 600 dogs representing AKC-recognized breeds compete for the Best In Show and Reserve Best In Show titles.

Sightseeing Cruise & Dolphin Quest – You can’t miss out on seeing our Atlantic Bottle-Nose Dolphins. Sit back and enjoy Mother Nature’s finest on this 90-minute shoreline cruise.

Fin and Zen Yoga – There’s yoga, and then there’s ZEN YOGA! Imagine flowing like a fish to bring out the happier and healthier version of yourself as you discover nirvana through Vinyasa yoga. Set in Aquatic Wonders, align your body and mind in an environment with sharks, stingrays, reef fish and other sea life.

Annual Celtic Music Festival & Scottish Highland Games – A fun cultural experience for the entire family. Relish in the exciting Jousting events, Irish Dancing and Bagpipe Bands. There is also a terrific variety of vendors, children’s activities, artisans, authentic food and more.
